In March 2021, Oxford Contemporary Opera announced Opera for One: a virtual opera comprising five songs commissioned specially for this multi-media project.
In response to the pandemic, Opera For One focuses on five themes of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance.
Composers, librettists, singers, and artists have been invited to collaborate in this mixed-media virtual opera.
